Schriftzug "Diana Marinescu Mindset Architect" in schwarzer und orangefarbener Schrift.

Hi, I’m Diana Marinescu.

I’m a psychologist, computer scientist, and mindset architect — I love turning ‘what is’ into ‘what could be’.

I build frameworks that allow leaders and teams step into the mindsets they need in order to unlock their potential—because real progress starts with how we think.

Rooted in tech, shaped by diverse cultures, and driven by a fascination with the human mind, I’ve spent 15+ years helping ideas, products, and teams thrive across industries and continents. One question has always guided my work: How do we unleash the people’s potential to be extraordinary and create extraordinary things?

Technology excites me — but even more so, how it can empower people. I love creating aha! moments — those moments when something shifts, and people see new possibilities with confidence and hope. Because that is when change actually begins.

I thrive on developing bold ideas with brilliant minds—the more diverse, the more intriguing. Growth and creative change have been my constants: from arriving in Germany as a kid who didn’t know the language to building a career spanning marketing, neuroscience research, innovation, and transformation consulting. From corporate roles to freelance consulting in California to building my own business.

And beyond the work? You can spot me chasing the sun, recharging by the waves, and creating new experiences with my kids—encouraging them to dream big, stay curious, and believe in their own unique superpowers.

If you want the backstory…

I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of people, technology, and change.

Growing up in the 90s in Germany, with my father working at the forefront of high computing in the United States, I saw firsthand how technology could unlock new possibilities. At the same time, I was intrigued by what brings out the extraordinary in people - and how technology could possibly amplify that. Naturally, I pursued the study of computer science at Technical University Munich, diving into high-tech companies from the very start.

But something didn’t sit right. Progress wasn’t just about better tech - it only worked if people embraced, adopted, and advanced it. That question: ’how do we adopt and advance ideas, products, and technology?’ led me to psychology. I trained in the UK, Switzerland, and researched the mechanisms of cognitive perception and human decision-making processes at UCLA in California.

From marketing for high-tech companies in Germany and consumer products in California to innovation consulting across Europe, my focus has always been the same: helping people and teams move forward. Whether that means breaking old thinking patterns, navigating uncertainty, or unlocking potential they didn’t know they had.

Today, with Mind Thrive Consulting, I bring science, strategy, and human potential together to assist leaders, teams and businesses in creating the future they want to see.

… here’s what you’d probably find out about me in the first 10 minutes:

People puzzles are my favorite to solve. Why do we act in ways that don’t serve us? What keeps us stuck? What does it take for us to be at our best? Those are the questions that drive me.

🚀 Uncertainty, in my opinion, is opportunity. The best ideas emerge from the unknown. It can be scary - but that fear can be transformed into excitement, and we can learn to navigate it with courage.

🤖 I see AI as a tool, not a threat. Technology should enhance, not replace human intelligence. It should create space for our utmost human capabili.

🎯 I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Each team, each situation, each transformation is unique. The best approach is a flexible combination of methods at the right moment.

🔥 I get excited when people have “Aha!” moments. That’s when I know real transformation is taking place.
